Meet our team of therapists
Elisa first qualified in Italy in 2008 with a specialisation in neuropsychology, where she worked mainly with children with autism and learning disabilities. Her love of travelling and exploring new cultures brought her to the UK, where I became HCPC registered as a Clinical Psychologist. PTSD and Complex PTSD,
Childhood trauma,
Anxiety difficulties, such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Specific phobias, perfectionism, low self-esteem.

Therapeutic models
In her practice, Elisa mainly use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and also draws on “third wave” approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). These approaches can help people better understand their thoughts and feelings, develop healthier coping strategies, and build greater self-compassion.
Elisa is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that is particularly effective for processing trauma and reducing the distress linked to difficult memories.
